But if this ever changing world in which we live in makes you give in and cry... say LIVE AND LET DIE.

Two hours late… but still all good….
Let me just greet two of the most important people in my life…

random ramblings

November 11, 2006

I'm multi-tasking right now. I'm checking three different boards (also known as forum for some) because the only forum that I often visit is unfortunately down. People had to evacuate somewhere else (somewhere equates to EVERYWHERE). Hehehe. It'll be up by Sunday though… so yeah. In addition, I'm also downloading House MD episodes, blogging, watching TV (more like listening), trying to keep my feet warm, and fighting the urge to get food from the fridge. HEHEHE.

November and December are Starbucks months. I've started with the stickers for the Sbux planner and I currently have six. Anybody wanna join me for a cup of coffee (or a milk-based Caramel Frap with extra caremal on top)? Teeh.

Just for those who still don't know yet… we now have 10 dogs. Hehehe. Yeah, Tichay gave birth (again) about a month and a half ago to 7 cute puppies. We had to give the other pups away because if we all kept them, we'll have 14 dogs already (yikes). So yeah, we left three adorable puppies with us. Since I'm currently a PDA addict, I stand proud in naming them Adert, Scholar and Lapel. Haha. For those not familiar with these terms - Adert is Jun's way of saying Adult, Scholar is self-explanatory, and Lapel is the wireless mic they use everyday inside the academy. Hee. It just occurred to me that our dogs' names depend on my current addiction. As you all know, the father of all the pups we have now is Champ (named after the ever so yummy vocalist of Hale). ^_^

ENGOT: ENGineers Of Today. :)

November 10, 2006
I wanna congratulate my batchmates (and ex-coursemates) who recently passed the ECE Licensure Exam. ^_^ Lemme see… congratulations Robert, Armi, Ricky, Tonton, Gem, DAN, Larry, Fule, Lester, Joric, Chris, Jonathan, Myke, Kari, Joanna, Nyce, Ric, Gyles, Louise, SanMig, Niño, Debs and Yabs! Of course, to my cousin Jordan… the nth engineer of the family! If I missed anyone, I am soooo sorry. Everybody's aware that yours truly is unbelievably bad with names. So uhm, congratulations, too, to those that I missed out. HEHEHE. Good job, engineers! *beer for passers! beer for passers!*

Diane, Monds, Ivan, Denver and the rest… be ready for April! I wanna see your names on the list of the next ECE board passers. Yeah!

boys boys boys. :)

Hahaha. I sound like a… nevermind.

Don't be fooled by the so uncreative title. I just want to share this screencap of Chad's drawing of the Pinoy Dream Academy boys (well, those that are still inside, that is). Such cuteness! Chad actually captured each of the male scholars' features… Jay-R and his action star slash dramatic actor look, the wacky Eman with his infamous cap, Davey: epitome of a genuine bochok (with the smile that never wears out), the innocent looking Ronnie (huh?) with his eyes wide open, Yvan's gangster-like facial hair and long chin, and Chad himself… with the ever so serious and stern look (but papable, nevertheless).

Credits to xenie for the sc. :)

Crap… it's already 5:30 in the morning. I better go sleep. GAAAAH, I reaaaally need to look into my sleeping habits. It sucks.

the producer and the singers.

November 9, 2006
The other night, while watching PDA Primetime, my dad saw the pianist accompanying the scholars every voice class and told us (my mom and me) that he looked very familiar. I told my dad that the pianist's name is sir Monet. And then my dad goes… "Oo si Monet. Naging singer ko yan about two years ago for a Ray Conniff christmas album. Bat mo sini-sir, eh ako sini-sir nyan." HAHAHA I love my dad and his witty remarks. So yeah, two teachers/coaches of Pinoy Dream Academy were dad's singers then. The other one's Von Arroyo, the diction teacher.

And my reason for posting this? Well… no reason, actually. I just wanted to blog about it. Teeh. ^_^

I was supposed to write a longer entry with more random topics in it but I'm too lazy right now. HEH.

the weekend that was.

November 8, 2006
So much for my so-called introductory post. BLEHEHE. Maybe I'll post one some other time. I'm still thinking of a nice way to introduce myself to the viewing public. HAH. ^_^ Anyway, as the title suggests, I'll be posting about my weekend.

Congratulations Ces and Emer. ^_^
I spent Saturday at my cousin's wedding. Well, actually, I only attended the reception. Hehe. It's the same as all receptions… there's the messages for the couple part, cutting of the cake, freeing of the birdies (that didn't sound right), throwing of the bride's bouquet of lovely flowers, drinking of wine, picture taking blah blah blah. The food was yummy and the place was all good despite the fact that it had no AC (open space… romantic but HOT, literally). Anyway, what got me thinking was the fact that our family is Catholic and our newest in-laws are Iglesia. I didn't know that that's ok? Or maybe ate Ces is now an INC convert and I'm still the same old oblivious yet beautiful cousin. Teeh.

So yeah, congratulations to my cousin and her hubby!

Sunday madness. O_o
I slept at about 5 in the morning and woke up at 10 because we had to go to the cemetery to pay respect to my lolo and lola (father side). My parents and I left the house an hour after waking up. Anyway, we were with Lolo Rod, my sister Yvette and her family. The flowers brought by my uncles (and their respective families) were still there. Such beauty. We stayed there until about 1:30, then we had a joyride somewhere south and ended up at Chowking in Pilar to have merienda. The place is a few minutes away from my sister's house. Since I seldom go to the south (hehe, I'm from Quezon City… go figure), I SMSed Diane (my BFF who lives in BFRV) and told her where I was. She called up and asked if she could pick me up, I said yes. Then I asked my parents if I could spend the night at Diane's house, and they gave their permish. So yeeey, instant overnight!

Diane and Denver picked me up from Chowking. Apparently, Denver and Ivan (Diane's thesis mates and our berks as well) had already planned to do their thesis that same day at Diane's house and eventually sleep there. Yey, slumber parteeeey! Hahaha just kidding. We SMSed Jondy (who lives a few minutes from Diane's) and told him to come join us. At first, he wasn't sure if he'd be allowed to go. Next thing we know, he's already outside Diane's gate. Hahaha!

It's fun being with my berks again. Haven't really spent that much time with them eversince I got so involved with my thesis. The others have already graduated ahead of us, some are already working, some are still in school, and the rest (including me) are now professional bums. Hehehe. Anyway, Diane, Ivan and Denver took a break from doing their thesis and we went to Starbucks at about 11pm. Hay, the joys of being with friends. PRICELESS. We stayed there up until 1am (when they were already closing, HAHAHA).

Aside from Diane, all of us are self-proclaimed insomniacs. True enough, nobody slept until the wee hours of the morning except for Diane. What we did while we were up? YOUTUBE-d. Hahaha. We love youtube, and we watched whatever shows we could think of (from Crystal Maze to Takeshi's Castle to other random videos).

By 5am, to my surprise, my parents picked me up. Killjoys. Then again, it's a good thing since I didn't have any clothes to wear for the next day… nor did I have a toothbrush, deodorant or whatever with me. Nevertheless, I still love impromptu overnights… haha! Oh yeah, tita gave me a new toothbrush and made me wear Diane's shirt and pjs for sleeping. Hihi, thanks tita!

When I got home, I fixed myself up then went online. Diane was still up and so were the others. Take note, all of us sans Diane still haven't slept. HAHA. I wanted to try to reach 24-hours of no sleep, but I guess I was too tired because I got Zzzz's at 7:30 am. Darn, 2 and a half more hours and I would've been happy to announce that I was up for 24 hours. Oh well, maybe next time. HEHEHEHE.

So there. I'm done. It's 4:51 am… better go sleep.
I have tons of random stuff to post later. I hope I remember all of 'em when I wake up… heee. ^_^

After a million times of switching from one blog to another, I think I'm gonna like my stay here. Aside from the fact that it has cool features… i now have my own domain. YEAH! I'll update this often, I PROMISSSSEE (a promise I've made a hundred times already hehe).

I'll post an introductory post in a while… I'll just tinker with the features here first. Yey!
